Join the Brims Builders Hardware team in Tweed Heads, NSW as a full-time Yard Storeperson (Timber and Hardware). In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient and organised storage of timber, hardware and other building materials to support the company's operations and ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
What you'll be doing
1. Unload, sort, and stock a variety of timber, hardware, and building materials
2. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the yard and storage areas
3. Assist with loading customer orders and deliveries
4. Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
5. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
6. Contribute to a safe work environment by following all health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics or similar role, preferably in the building materials industry
2. Forklift licence and experience operating machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately
4. Good communication and customer service skills
5. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
6. Commitment to workplace health and safety
