We are looking for positive, confident, passionate, qualified head and/or sous chefs to join our busy kitchen team in a permanent part-time or full-time position.
In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment alongside a supportive team, and will be responsible for various cookery tasks.

Qualifications - Head chef - Full Time
A trade qualification as required
To be eligible to apply for this position you must have an appropriate Australian work visa.
This position is for immediate start for the successful applicant.
As our Head Chef you'll need to:
* Lead a team of talented chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
* Exposure to fine dining
* Develop and implement innovative seasonal menus that showcase your culinary expertise.
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and food safety.
* Maintain a strong focus on cost control and manage inventory effectively.
* Stay current on culinary trends and techniques.
* Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient food service
We're looking for a chef who:
* Has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful menus.
* Hands-on leadership skills with ability to train and inspire a team.

Sous & Commi Chefs - Full time/Part Time
Skills, Abilities and Experience
* Join a team of talented chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
* Assist in the planning of menus and determining food quantities and costs
* Prepare, cook and plate food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
* Monitor food quality and presentation
* Order and maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring it meets daily production needs
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
* Oversee hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
* A passion for food, coupled with a passion for providing exceptional service
* Previous experience in pub/bistro style dining (preferred, but not essential)
* Enthusiasm and commitment
* The ability to work under pressure and multitask; and
* Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to work various shifts, including day, night, split and weekend shifts, public holidays (if open) as may be required, with opportunity for rotating weekends off
