Why do we need you?The Sr. Financial Analyst acts as a business partner and trusted advisor supporting the Commercial Building Envelope (CBE) Must Win Battles (MWB). The role focuses on enabling rapid, profitable growth through functional excellence, resource allocation, and continuous capital investment within North America. It oversees finance aspects related to Sales to Off-Site Factories, OPA performance, and SG&A spend.Responsibilities include:Business Financial Reporting and Analysis:Coordinate and analyze monthly forecasts from Off-Site Solutions (OSS) inputs (e.g., 3ME).Dissect financial data (product mix, pricing, COF/inflation, subcontracting costs, SG&A, inventory movements) and non-financial data (headcount, quality) to identify risks and opportunities.Analyze OSS product line profitability, report progress towards budgets, and identify trends.Prepare 'what-if' simulations and recommend actions.Ensure accuracy and integrity of the BU balance sheet.Strategic Planning:Support BU product portfolio assessments to drive growth and value creation.Coordinate planning and analysis for financial cycles (Budget, RF, LRP), presenting scenarios and recommendations.Align profitability, growth, and optimization goals with EBITDA, OFCF, and ROCE targets.Manage capital requirements and forecasting processes.Process Improvement:Propose and support digital transformation initiatives.Enforce ownership and accountability within internal processes.Business Partnership:Support departments like MFG, SG&A, R&D with financial planning, spend tracking, and risk management.Consolidate and report financial results, analyze variances, and prepare presentations.Coordinate budget cycles and support digital KPI dashboard projects.Lead reviews of margin performance and capital allocation.Business Intelligence:Assist teams in understanding business context and opportunities.Promote financial literacy and training within departments.Compliance:Collaborate with management to ensure internal controls and risk mitigation.Is this job for you?To succeed, candidates should have:5+ years of experience in finance or analytical roles, with prior roles such as Senior Financial Analyst or similar.Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; Master's preferred.Self-motivated with limited supervision needed.Strong communication and influence skills.Experience managing product margins and opportunities.Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.Proactive, innovative, collaborative, and creative mindset.A team ready to welcome youAt Saint-Gobain, our culture is built on Trust, Empowerment, and Collaboration.
