This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Job Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and the public, maintaining a professional environment.
* Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, take messages, and route calls to appropriate extensions.
* Collect patient co-pays and process payments at registration, and perform general cashier duties.
* Retrieve medical records from outside providers and create medical charts for new patients, adhering to release of information procedures.
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Two years of secretarial/office experience preferred.
* Previous experience in a medical setting strongly preferred.
* Proficient in computer use and data entry.
* Strong communication skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
