Skilled Trades Assistants x10 Needed
Labourpower Recruitment Services have 10 Opportunities available now for Trade Assistants /Skilled Trade Assistants / Trade Qualified Carpenters and Assemblers for our clients who specialise in manufacturing.
These positions will commence immediately on both ongoing temp assignments and Permanent Contracts, Monday – Friday 38 hours per week + overtime.
Pay rates will depend on skill level but start from -$33+
For the right candidates these positions may have the opportunity of permanency .
We are currently looking for the following staff
- Skilled trade assistants
- Tilers
Duties will include but are not limited to the following :
- Measuring material
- Cutting material to precise measurements
- General trades assistant
- Use of hand and power tools
- Assisting qualified tradesman on site ie: Carpenters, Plumbers
- Fitting accessories
- General site cleaning
- Caulking
- Gyprock sheeting
- Waterproofing
To be suitable you will need to meet the following requirements :
- Minimum 2 months solid experience working in a similar position
- Sound knowledge and experience with hand an power tools
- Must be able to get to the area of Berkeley Vale or Somersby on a daily basis
- Must be able to complete a medical screen-er and drug/alcohol screen-er ( this will be required at interview stage )
- Must be able to provide two work check able references
