The Role:
Our new Tasmania Store will be a fast-paced, customer-focused environment delivering great service and strong operational standards. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new team from day one and help shape a positive store culture while building leadership capability that can transfer across our wider business.
We're excited to offer three Team Leader opportunities for an upcoming new store opening at Hobart Airport in Tasmania. These roles are ideal for Team Members who are looking to build their leadership capability and grow their career within our airport retail and food service network.
As a Team Leader, you'll support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, coaching team members and delivering strong customer experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys leading by example and is interested in developing toward future Assistant Manager or Store Manager opportunities across retail and food services.
What You'll Do:
Leading by example to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences
Supporting and coaching team members on shift
Assisting with sales, service and operational targets
Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentation standards
Creating a positive, respectful and collaborative team environment
Taking ownership, showing reliability and bringing a solutions-focused mindset
What We're Looking For:
Current LagardèreAWPL team members with experience in retail or hospitality
Demonstrated leadership behaviours (formal or informal)
Strong communication skills and a supportive coaching style
A customer-first mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility across a rotating airport roster
Valid working rights and ability to maintain an ASIC
