Job Description
A call out to motivated and experienced Electrical Technicians with industrial construction experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry looking to join a thriving team. Wood is recruiting Electricians to join our Projects team at the Ampol Refinery on a casual basis pre‐T&I leading into the FCCU T&I, with potential for full‐time employment in the future. Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality and consistent electrical and instrument installations in accordance with site and job requirements, standards and procedures
* Ensure scope of works completed in a safe manner, preventing detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
* Apply effective fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills
* Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders
* Work independently or with a team across variable deadlines
* Maintain excellent time‐management skills
Qualifications
* Experience in a brownfield environment, preferably in the oil & gas industry (other project experience considered)
* Valid Electrical Licence
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology System
* Hazardous Areas certification (EEHA or full Cert IV)
* High‐Risk Work Licence – EWP (11m or more) and Forklift – highly desirable
* Working Safely at Heights – current within last 3 years
* Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
* Valid construction card
