Hybrid WFH role selling corporate training to the public sector, working for a national professional body.

**Your new company**
Our client is a national professional body that provides insights, formal and informal learning to their profession across Australia. They provide education and training services and produce world-class conferences; seminars and networking opportunities. They also set the standards through accreditation of qualifications at universities across Australia and assist governments in the development of policy and legislation.

**Your new role**
Working within a sales team towards individual and collective targets, the primary purpose of this position is to generate sales revenue from organisations in the public sector. With a strong focus on group training, you will sell a full suite of membership services including certification, formal education, corporate training, sponsorship, events, and organisational membership. A full position description will be made available upon interview, with the key duties outlined below:

- Selling corporate training & membership services to organisations, predominantly in the public sector
- Writing request for tenders (RFT) for corporate training
- Sales prospecting, including cold calling for new business with key opinion leaders
- Selling event sponsorship and exhibitor packages
- Develop customer acquisition plans including target and reporting methodologies
- Account manage both new and existing clients, including phone calls, face to face appointments and effective client database management.
- Create, deliver and present proposals, prospectuses and bundled packages on time as required

Please note this role will initially be a 12 month FTC and the position involves interstate travel approximately 8-10 times per year.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Well-developed communication, account and relationship management skills
- Previous experience selling services to the government sector
- Consultative sales style and ability to build strong client relationships
- Highly motivated with a positive and optimistic attitude and strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Education & training sales experience highly regarded
- Currently residing in Australia with full work rights
