Overview
We are seeking experienced
Enterprise Integration Engineer
to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions across a diverse enterprise application landscape. This role is critical for enabling automated and reliable deployment of integration components and APIs, while ensuring high performance and compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with system analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to design and implement integration solutions using
Microsoft Azure
technologies such as:
* Azure Functions
* Azure Logic Apps
* Azure Service Bus
* Azure App Services
* Develop high-quality, reusable, and secure APIs with effective version management.
* Write clean, maintainable code for integration components.
* Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working cross-functionally to identify root causes and implement solutions.
* Conduct code reviews and execute comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, regression).
* Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for scalability and efficiency.
* Maintain detailed technical documentation, including API specifications and deployment procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with project goals.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and cloud strategy, focusing on scalability and interoperability.
* Ensure compliance with relevant
government security frameworks
and privacy legislation.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, integration patterns, and best practices.
* Support change management and release coordination for smooth deployment across environments.
* Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows to ensure high availability and data integrity.
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in software development with strong skills in
C#, .NET Core, and SQL
.
* Hands-on experience with
Azure integration services
: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and APIM.
* Strong understanding of
RESTful API design
, microservices, and interoperability standards (JSON, XML, SOAP, gRPC, GraphQL).
* Experience with
authentication and authorization
protocols (OAuth, OpenID, JWT).
* Familiarity with databases, data structures, and integration patterns.
* Proficiency in API testing tools and methodologies.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with
microservices architecture

event-driven systems
, and
Domain Driven Design (DDD)
.
* Proficiency in
CI/CD tools
like Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Git, YAML, ARM, or Bicep.
* Knowledge of
security testing tools

* Familiarity with tools such as
Micro Focus Fortify

SailPoint

ServiceNow
, and
AWS
.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
