Maintenance Electrician - $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS
About the Role
Our Townsville Plant currently has an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team.
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Electrician will provide skilled support across the plant to ensure the availability, reliability and capability of plant assets in a beef processing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets
Monitoring, following up and addressing issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
Ensuring the continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
Communicating with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues
Understanding and implementing quality control techniques
Undertaking a proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
Being actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
A $5,000 sign-on bonus will be offered to successful candidates (conditions apply).
About You
Electrical trade qualification and post-trade experience (ideally a minimum of 2 years)
Previous experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
Ability to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift
