Job Title: Expert HR Advisor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor to join our team for a six-week temporary assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert HR advice and case management support across performance, conduct, and workplace relations.
* Work closely with managers to implement workforce strategies and improve capability.
* Manage complex HR cases including grievances, misconduct, and disputes.
* Advising on enterprise agreement, policy, and legislation.
* Synergize key duties such as preparing reports, briefings, and formal correspondence, delivering supervisor training and coaching, and contributing to continuous improvement in HR processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline (or higher) security clearance.
* Minimum 3 years' HR experience in a government or complex environment.
* Strong communication, judgement, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in case management and workplace investigations.
* Familiarity with APS employment frameworks is desirable.
* Qualifications in HR, workplace relations, or related fields are an advantage.
