Aboriginal Health Liaison Role
The Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer (AHLO) plays a critical role in promoting cultural safety and equity in healthcare. As a casual AHLO, you will work with Aboriginal patients, their families and carers, and health professionals to provide culturally sensitive services.
Your responsibilities will include visiting wards, helping patients communicate with health professionals, and linking them to community health services. You will also contribute to health activities that promote cultural healing and support health staff to provide culturally respectful care.
