Looking for a technically competent and motivated Electrician in Sydney, working across service, repair, upgrades, and replacements of building maintenance units with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
A background in BMU, Cranes or Lifts preferred. Remuneration: $80k to $120k + Super + work vehicle and phone
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician to join their Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) Division in Sydney.
Known for superior customer service, competitive pricing, and rigorous safety standards, our client provides expert service, repairs, upgrades, and replacements of BMU systems.
This is a technically challenging and rewarding role that involves planned maintenance, fault finding, breakdown resolution, and the implementation of best-practice long-term solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
As a subject matter expert, you will bring strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a high level of independence in your work.
You will be responsible for assessing and adapting work methods to suit a variety of site-based situations using your judgement, previous experience, and specialist skills.

Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, upgrade, and replace building maintenance units (BMUs)Planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault resolutionDeploy long-term solutions to improve reliability and performanceWork both independently and as part of a teamEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with WHS protocolsProvide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clientsAdhere to internal systems and processes to deliver high quality outcomesQualifications and Requirements: Electrician LicenseAustralian Driver's LicenseWorking at Heights Training (completed or willing to obtain)Current police check (within the last 3 months or willing to obtain)Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic skillsGood communication skills and customer service mindsetPhysically fit and able to work at heightsKnowledge of WHS regulations and complianceHighly Regarded Experience: Experience with automation equipment, including PLCsPrior experience working on BMUs, cranes, or plant/process machineryAbility to work unsupervised in a small, close-knit team environmentThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
