**About the Roles**
We are looking for experienced and passionate Visual Arts Lecturers to join our program. These positions involve delivering quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivering quality student centred, collaborative educational and training involving: Planning, preparing, conducting & assessing teaching programs.
- Determining and implementing flexible delivery methodologies and developing teaching & learning materials and strategies.
- Establishing and maintaining a learning environment and managing student issues.
- Continuous improvement of teaching programs and the workgroup's products & services.
- Providing advice and guidance within areas of specialist expertise in communication with stakeholders in relation to learning needs of students and training needs of employers.
- Assisting education program members with student academic counselling and student selection processes.
- Assisting team members with resource evaluation, selection, adaptation, and development of learning materials.

**Essential Selection Criteria**
- Experience as a practicing multidisciplinary visual artist - with at least one, one person (solo) exhibition; many shared exhibitions in established galleries and/or ARIs (artist run initiatives).
- Experience writing, presenting and teaching art history and theory at a tertiary level.
- Experience in providing academic supervision at Honours level or above.
- Bachelor of Visual Art & Design or educational qualifications deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrate your level of skills, knowledge, and industry experience in line with the Industry Addendum.

**Special Conditions**
- Some out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Eligible to work in Australia
