**Job Description**
As a key member of our management team, the Senior General Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee overall operations within designated remit to ensure ethical, moral and legal standards are achieved.
* Monitor and manage gross margin and expenses to maximise sustainable profit generation.
* Take a long-term strategic approach to franchises, seeking opportunities to grow the business organically or through acquisition as appropriate.
* Oversight of vehicle stock levels, spare parts inventories, and minimisation of stock obsolescence.
* Ensure compliance with all manufacturer directed educational requirements and qualifications associated with the role.
Leadership Expectations:
* Guide and support direct reports, providing clear performance feedback and coaching for desired behaviours.
* Drive annual performance development reviews, setting SMART goals aligned with organisational objectives.
* Build strong relationships with franchise representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Year 12 completion.
* Police Check.
* Drivers Licence.
Preferred Work Experience:
* Sound understanding of and previous experience in the automotive industry.
* Previous senior leadership experience.
