**Team Leader, Digital Library**
- Library Services, Sunshine Coast
- Level 8, $103,400- $117,104 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation
- Full-time, Ongoing

**About the Opportunity**
Under broad direction, you will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing a strategy to manage and evaluate the strategic operational development of digital resources, Library infrastructure, and discovery and access of Library resources.
Library Services currently operates multiple systems to support the Teaching, Learning and Research activities of the University. You will manage an evaluation process to determine the optimal combination of systems to ensure sustainable services and will contribute to evaluation and planning for systems across the broader university community. You will be responsible for any migration to alternative systems, with ensuing workflow management throughout the library and broader university community.
**Y**ou will*
- provide technical support and innovative and proactive leadership for the Digital Library team;
- develop and execute the digital library services strategy and corresponding policies in line with emerging trends and platforms to ensure effective and best practise support to the University's students and staff; and
- contribute to strategy, evaluation and implementation of sustainable digital infrastructure to support Learning, Teaching and Research.

**About you**
To be successful in this position you will be a strong communicator, with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that enables professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders. You have project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate teams to achieve successful outcomes.
**You will possess**:

- extensive experience in the strategic planning, development, integration and implementation of information management systems and technologies to support the delivery of Library services in a digital, online environment;
- experience in the processes of library acquisition and delivery of information;
- experience of issues and trends relating to the development, management and delivery of electronic resources including electronic journals, electronic databases and ebooks in an academic environment; and
- experience working with content providers, vendors or commercial agents, and an understanding of electronic licensing and contractual arrangements.
