The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Product Data Management Specialist to support the Boeing Airpower Teaming System (ATS) in the development of an unmanned aerial system. The role will be based in Amberley, Brisbane or Melbourne.
Data Management experience in large development programs is important; but more important to us is who you are and how you care for the people you work with. We are looking for outstanding communicators and a focus on relationship building and collaboration across both the Boeing and supplier teams, as well as with our customer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage programmatic and technical documentation as part of an overall project plan.
- Co-ordinate the flow of project-related data and library documentation within the ATS team, and between internal and external agencies.
- Control the registration, protection, release, distribution, handling and storage of project data, including the control, protection and transfer of secure and export-controlled data.
- Maintain records necessary to ensure traceability and accountability.
- Forecast and manage the contractual deliverables to ensure the project meets customer requirements.
- Communicate with the customer to ensure customer receipt of deliverables and manage customer comment resolution with appropriate authors.
Experience/Qualifications
- Hold an Australian Government security clearance, or be able to obtain a security clearance, of NV1 or higher.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry
- Experience using Product Lifecycle Management systems, electronic document management systems, or similar.
- Knowledge of Defence Export Control Regulations and classified data handling and protection requirements.
