About the Team
This role reports to the Assembly Team Lead and works alongside Mechanics, Electricians, and Production Workers. It is part of the Production team, which includes Painters, Welders, the Prototype Shop, the Armour Shop, and the Logistic Systems team. The team is expanding throughout 2025 and the role is based full-time at the Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Redbank.

* A relevant trade qualification such as Automotive Mechanic, Electrical trade, or Engineering
* Ability to interpret production drawings, manuals, and technical documents
* Strong task planning, time management, and prioritization skills
* Self-motivation, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to travel interstate or overseas for training (if necessary)
* Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance
Role Responsibilities
* Complete assembly tasks for Vehicles and Subsystems per Manufacturing Instructions, Engineering Drawings, Quality Standards, and WH&S requirements
* Rework assembly tasks including fitting protection plates, brackets, and electronic components
* Build vehicles from hull to finished product, covering mechanical and electrical tasks
* Assist with vehicle movements within the facility
* Operate cranes and perform lifting tasks safely
* Maintain organized storage of parts, tools, and equipment
* Adhere to WH&S requirements and perform other duties as assigned
