Your New Role
As the IT/Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing, designing and implementing our company's IT infrastructure, including systems and networks in line with industry best practices.
* Managing day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring systems availability, performance and reliability.
* Managing and mentoring a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for technical projects, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
* Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify technology needs, develop IT strategies and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant IT policies, procedures and security standards, including data privacy and protection.
* Staying up to date with industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing improvements to IT infrastructure and operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are highly desirable.
* 5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure and operations, preferably within a complex and distributed environment.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a technical team.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows systems administration, networking and virtualization technologies.
* Experience in Azure cloud technologies and managing hybrid environments.
