**Job description**
Star Phones is seeking a dedicated and vigilant CCTV Operator to monitor multiple store locations and ensure the safety and security of our premises, employees, and customers. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring live video feeds from CCTV cameras, identifying any suspicious activities, and correcting employee behavior when necessary.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Monitor live video feeds from CCTV cameras placed in various Star Phones store locations to detect any security threats, theft, or policy violations.
2. Identify and address any suspicious activities or unauthorized access by employees or customers in real-time.
3. Communicate effectively with store managers and security personnel to take immediate action in response to security incidents or policy violations.
4. Keep detailed records of incidents, including timestamps, descriptions, and outcomes, for reporting and analysis purposes.
5. Train store employees on proper security procedures and the correct use of CCTV equipment to enhance overall safety and security measures.
6. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to provide evidence for investigations and support legal proceedings.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in CCTV monitoring to continuously improve security protocols and efficiency.
- Previous experience working as an Admin Officer/ HR Assistant
- An energetic, positive, flexible, can-do attitude (no job is too big or too small)
- Strong communication and work ethic
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CCTV operator or in a similar security-related role.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and security protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations related to CCTV monitoring.
