Duties & responsibilities:
In this role, the Trainee Driller will be pivotal in water bore drilling operations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with hands-on involvement in every stage of the process.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* assisting the Driller in all aspects of water bore drilling operations
* setting up/packing up equipment at job sites as needed
* participation in drilling/casing/developing finished water bores
* driving our rig and equipment to/from sites (incl. off-road driving)
* contributing to a safe and successful team environment.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential (Tamborine/Brisbane residency highly preferred)
Previous water bore drilling experience essential (diamond core/oil & gas drilling experience may not be sufficient)
Proven off-road driving skills essential
Ability to handle a variety of tasks beyond direct drilling where needed
Self-sufficient approach to work.
