You will be primarily responsible for carrying out all aspects of HSE and the timely completion of activities, not limited to the duties below.Key ResponsibilitiesIncident investigations and managementInjury managementAudits and inspectionsTraining and coachingSystem reviews & data analysisFacilitate HSE meetings & manage Risk Management WorkshopsDocumentation preparationA high focus on life saving commitmentsPreparation and delivery of toolbox and campaign materialAdhoc coverage across sites during shutdowns and outagesDaily/weekly site visitsEnsure that all HS&E; processes comply with the requirements of KAEFER and client policies, procedures and project specifications, as identified in the contract document and HSE management plan(s).
Participate in periodic reviews of processes and the audit system for HS&E; to align with Client and Corporate goals and targets, plus areas of continuous improvement.Investigate HS&E; near misses and incidents with timely and professional outcome of investigation.Review incident reporting (including near misses) and provide input to corrective actions and prevention.About YouMin.
3 years proven experience as an Advisor in either the Mining or Heavy industries.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety – Diploma (essential) | Cert IV in Workplace OHS (preferred)Must reside in WAStrong problem-solving skills to address safety issues and recommend practical solutionsProven ability to develop and implement safety policies & procedures in line with mining or heavy industrial standardsA proactive and results oriented mindset committed to promoting a culture of safety within the projectHighly developed communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate all stakeholdersWhat We OfferContinuous Training and Career Development – Engage in hands on training sessions, workshops and mentorship programs that empower your professional growth.Competitive salary with site uplift – Compensation package plus site uplifts (where applicable).
