We're seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to support and grow nursing capability within our Medicine services. This role is ideal for a clinically credible nurse who enjoys teaching, mentoring and leading learning at the bedside.
About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will deliver flexible, learner-centred education that supports safe, competent and confident nursing practice. You will work closely with Nurse Managers and nursing staff to identify learning needs, assess clinical competence and promote a strong culture of learning across the unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs and in-services.
* Provide day-to-day and one-to-one clinical education and support.
* Assess clinical competence and support professional development.
* Act as a clinical role model through preceptorship and mentorship.
* Collaborate with nursing leaders to identify unit and individual learning needs.
* Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines and procedures.

About You
* You are an experienced Registered Nurse with a genuine desire to teach, support and inspire others.

Essential Criteria
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* Recent acute care nursing experience at an advanced level.
* Experience delivering clinical education and assessing competence.
* Relevant post-registration clinical and/or education qualifications, or equivalent experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence using technology relevant to clinical education.
* Current NSW driver's licence.
