ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to sustained growth across the eastern seaboard, Parabellum is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Executive to own and develop our VIC/TAS territory on a full-time basis.

This is a high-impact, autonomous role for a driven sales professional who thrives in a consultative environment. You will be responsible for building the regional pipeline from the ground up, identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and closing deals across a diverse client base spanning SME, Enterprise, Government, and ASX-listed organisations.

You will work closely with Parabellum's technical experts, marketing, and leadership team to position our specialist security services and deliver genuine value to clients across Victoria and Tasmania.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

* Take full ownership of the VIC/TAS sales territory, developing and executing a regional go-to-market strategy to drive new business and grow existing accounts.
* Manage the entire sales cycle: from lead generation (Cold Calling) and qualification, through to negotiation and deal closure.
* Build, nurture, and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring alignment between client needs and Parabellum's specialist security services.
* Partner with our delivery and consulting teams to scope tailored solutions and articulate clear value propositions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Maintain a healthy, well-qualified sales pipeline and provide accurate regional forecasting to senior leadership.
* Collaborate with marketing on targeted regional campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and local brand presence.
* Represent Parabellum at VIC/TAS-based industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
* Actively contribute to team culture: sharing market intelligence, supporting colleagues, and embodying a standard of excellence across every client interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum 5 years of professional B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in cybersecurity, IT services, or professional services.
* Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets within a defined territory.
* Working understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and services — knowledge of penetration testing, red teaming, or security consulting is highly regarded.
* Ability to translate complex technical services into compelling business value for a diverse range of stakeholders — from engineers through to C-suite.
* Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency with CRM platforms and digital sales tools.
* Strong consultative, solutions-driven approach to client engagement.
* Established network or demonstrable ability to build pipeline within the VIC/TAS business community.
* Australia/NZ permanent residency or citizenship.
* Must pass a criminal history check.

NICE TO HAVES

* Existing network within the Victorian or Tasmanian: Mid Market, Enterprise or Government Sectors
* Experience selling into government, critical infrastructure, or regulated industries.
* Exposure to security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or the Essential Eight.
* Strong background in account management and client retention.
* Experience working alongside technical pre-sales or delivery teams in scoping activities.
* AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance or above.
