Business Development Manager
RPR Trades $120k OTE upwards in the 1st year - Full time
About RPR Trades:
We are a specialist labour hire and recruitment agency focused on the skilled and semi-skilled blue-collar sector, predominantly in trades. Established in November 2015, RPR Trades has enjoyed continued growth which has seen the creation of branches in Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast, in addition to the founding branch and corporate office in Brisbane. The RPR Branch structure consists of Client Service Managers who procure new clients and manage client relationships, in partnership with Resourcers who source candidates to fulfill orders, as well as manage candidate relationships.
About the role:
1. New and organic business development, predominantly within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors
2. Retention and development of existing clients, once again predominantly in the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors, through supreme customer service, relationship management, order fulfillment, query resolution and the delivery of solutions
3. Understand and deliver superior safety management processes and responsiveness in relation to labour hire requirements in particular
4. Maintain a strong business development mindset, seeking out the very latest in labour market knowledge and networking opportunities within areas of specialisation and operation to deliver innovative, effective and specialised service and solutions
5. Conduct activities and build relationships that brand RPR Trades as knowledge conduits and thought leaders within the Manufacturing and Engineering sectors
6. Maintain an intimate knowledge of all RPR products and services, as well as commercially relevant documents and material
7. Foster great relationships with all key stakeholders, in particular Candidate Services Consultants, in achieving activity and financial targets
About You:
8. True sales hunter and relationship builder
9. Experienced in consultative/solution selling of products or services to the Engineering and/or Manufacturing sectors
10. Blue collar labour hire experience is an advantage, but not essential
11. Ability to manage small to large client accounts and nurture long-lasting relationships.
12. A proven track record in identifying and establishing new clients within our target markets

15. Creative and innovative input where needed to assist the team in sourcing the best candidates in the market
16. Inquisitive nature that helps you to understand market trends including competitor and rates analysis
