Junior Digital Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time) Possible Full-Time role for the right person

Open Electrical Solar is a Brisbane-based electrical and renewable energy company specialising in solar, batteries, EV chargers and energy systems across South East Queensland.
We design and install premium systems using our own in-house electricians — no subcontractors — which means quality workmanship, compliance, and systems that actually perform long-term. We're a growing business that takes renewables seriously and we're now looking for a junior digital marketer to help tell that story and help drive growth.

The Role
This is a hands-on, part-time role for someone early in their marketing career who wants real experience, not just posting content or sitting on the sidelines.
You'll help create content, support paid ads, and work closely with the director and marketing team to grow the business.
You'll also get first-hand exposure to the trade — including occasional site visits — to understand what our electricians actually do day-to-day.

What You'll Be Doing
* Creating content for social media (posts, short videos, captions)
* Assisting with paid ads across Meta, Google, LinkedIn & Reddit
* Helping test creatives, copy, and audiences
* Supporting landing pages, funnels, and basic reporting
* Working with real campaigns and real budgets
You may also:
* Visit job sites occasionally to capture content
* Learn what goes into installing solar, batteries and EV chargers
* Get an inside look at what it's like to be a sparky in the renewables industry

* Junior or early-career marketer (study, side projects or freelance experience welcome)
* Comfortable with social media and content creation
* Curious about digital ads, AI and growth marketing
* Organised, reliable, and willing to learn
* Happy to occasionally visit job sites for content and learning

* Canva, CapCut or basic video editing skills
* Any experience running ads
* Marketing, business or comms student / graduate
* Interest in renewables, trades, or hands-on industries
