We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) business partner to join team. The FP&A business partner will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis activities across the group. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a strategic financial professional to contribute to the success of our health clubs by providing insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making.Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Budgeting:Manage, execute and improve the annual budget and rolling forecast process in collaboration with clubs & HO functions.Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and assumptions for accurate financial & membership forecasts.Derive insights from analysis on budget variances and implement feedback loops from budget owners to ensure accountability.Monitor and ensure adherence to the approved budget, identifying and addressing variances in a timely manner.Work closely with operational teams to provide financial guidance for expense management.Forecasting and Reporting:Improve and maintain financial and membership forecasting models to support short-term and long-term business planning.Generate regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.Forecast and report on debt covenants and cash balances to ensure debt covenant compliance.Financial Analysis & Commercial Support:Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of proposed business initiatives.Develop and enhance financial models to analyse scenarios, assess business risks, and support strategic initiatives in clubs.Provide decision support through ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis.Business Performance Metrics:Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure club's financial performance against strategic goals.Collaborate with department heads and General Managers to establish performance benchmarks and targets. Specifically, monitor club secondary spend performance with particular emphasis on food and beverage gross margin and contribution.Financial Systems and Processes:Evaluate and optimize financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis processes and tools.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA/CIMA/CA designation will be greatly desirable.Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
