D'Albora Marinas, Australia's largest Marina Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for the role of Dry Stacker/Boatyard Hand at Boatyard Martha Cove.
Facilities include 70 tonne marine travel lift, 330 spaces Dry stacker with 10 tonne boat forklift and 2 undercover work bays.
This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities.
Reporting to the General Manager, your key tasks will consist of but not limited to:
* Coordinate and supervise daily boatyard activities to ensure efficient performance and high‐quality work, in conjunction with the Boatyard General Manager.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to all boatyard staff.
* Undertake boatyard office duties, including scheduling, job allocation, and operational coordination.
* Ensure the boatyard operates safely for staff, contractors, and the public, in line with WHS requirements and Boatyard Conditions of Access.
* Assist in reviewing, developing, and implementing operational procedures and policies to maintain safe and compliant operations.
* Perform plant and vessel operations, including haul‐outs, launches, and general vessel movements.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules for plant, equipment, and yard infrastructure.
* Perform routine maintenance on plant, equipment, and vessels as required.
* Maintain the boatyard environment to a high standard, ensuring equipment, work areas, and operational zones are safe, clean, and functional.
The ideal person we seek would have:
* Marine industry experience, including Travel Lift and marine forklift operations.
* Understanding of relevant plant and equipment operation and maintenance.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Adequate computer use and current relevant technology.
* Car license is essential.
* Australian Residency.
* Awareness of workplace safety, health, quality and environmental standards.
