About the Role

As Bistro Manager at The Albion Hotel, you'll oversee the smooth and efficient running of our bistro and functions, ensuring every guest enjoys exceptional service from the moment they walk in.

You'll work closely with the Venue Manager to elevate service standards, grow the business, and deliver a welcoming dining experience for families, locals, and visitors alike.

The role includes staff leadership, function coordination, and supervision of our popular salad and veg bar.

What You'll Be Doing

* Overseeing daily bistro operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and friendly service
* Shaping The Albion Hotel as a leading family‑friendly dining venue
* Coordinating bistro bookings and functions, delivering seamless and memorable events
* Leading, training, and motivating a positive, engaged team
* Managing the salad and veg bar to ensure freshness, variety, and great presentation
* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements
* Assisting with inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Supporting continuous improvements in service, standards, and guest experience

What We're Looking For

* Strong hospitality leadership experience, ideally within bistro or hotel environments
* RSA certified and RP badged – Preferred
* A confident communicator with great people skills and a guest‑first mindset
* Organised, energetic and business‑focused, with an eye for operational improvements
* A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining moments for families
* Ability to build a positive, motivated team culture
* Flexibility to work across a 7‑day roster, including nights and weekends
