About the Role
We are seeking a Systems & Data Engineering Manager to lead the design, integration and optimisation of enterprise systems across complex, data-driven project environments. This is a senior role suited to a technically strong leader with a data engineering background, deep experience across ERP and Project Controls systems, and a proven ability to architect, migrate and integrate enterprise platforms.
The role will be responsible for shaping system architecture, managing large-scale data integrations, and ensuring seamless integration between core systems such as Primavera P6, SAP and other ERP and project controls platforms. You will work closely with project, commercial and leadership teams to deliver scalable, reliable and decision-ready systems that support major infrastructure and capital programs.
Required Experience & Capabilities
* Strong data engineering background, including data modelling and system integration
* Proven experience managing ERP and Project Controls systems in complex project environments
* Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise systems architecture
* Demonstrated experience migrating existing systems into new platforms
* Strong understanding of Project Controls disciplines (cost, schedule, risk, reporting)
* Experience leading ERP setup and system implementations
* Direct experience integrating systems such as Primavera P6 and SAP (or equivalent platforms)
* Ability to translate technical complexity into clear outcomes for senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
* Define and own the enterprise systems and data architecture across ERP and Project Controls environments
* Lead the design of scalable, secure and future-ready system architectures aligned to business and project needs
* Develop system roadmaps, integration strategies and migration plans
* Lead data integration across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency, accuracy and reliability of data
* Design and oversee ETL pipelines, data models and integration frameworks
* Manage complex system integrations between platforms such as Primavera P6, SAP, ERP, scheduling, cost and reporting systems
* Lead ERP system setup, configuration and optimisation across finance, cost, forecasting and controls functions
* Oversee the implementation and integration of Project Controls systems including scheduling, cost, risk and performance reporting
* Ensure alignment between ERP, Project Controls and reporting layers to support executive decision-making
* Lead the migration of legacy systems into new or consolidated platforms
* Manage data cleansing, validation, cutover planning and transition activities
* Ensure minimalAS2, minimal disruption to live project and business operations
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, analysts and systems specialists
* Establish governance frameworks, standards and best practices for systems and data management
* Act as a senior technical advisor to project teams and executive stakeholders
