The role
Responsibilities
As a Resource Recovery Employee (Driver), you will be part of the Ipswich Waste Services team and responsible for the collection, recovery, and disposal of domestic, commercial, and other waste. You will provide:
- Collection, recovery, re-use, and/or recycling of resources
- Collection and disposal of waste
- Delivery, repair, and replacement of council mobile garbage bins
Qualifications
To be successful, you will have:
- HR Class licence or higher, or the ability to obtain one
- Pride in safe driving skills
- A passion for a clean and sustainable Ipswich
- Pre‐employment checks, including a medical (drug and alcohol testing) and possibly a driving assessment

Salary commences at Level A – $69,590 up to LevelD – $77,245, plus superannuation of 13.5% and other benefits including:
