This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join a dedicated, small team in a family-owned, independent optometry practice. In our optometry practice you will have the opportunity to work closely with our wonderful customers to build strong relationships and to provide outstanding service. ABOUT THE ROLE
· Welcome customers into the practice
· Conduct preliminary testing prior to patient's eye examination
· Assist customers with frame and lens selections
· Dispense and order spectacles and contact lenses
· General administrative and reception duties: answer phone calls, make appointments, prepare mail, emailing, manage patient records, prepare banking
· Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented workspace
· Contribute to and support a high functioning team

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong computer skills
· Able to work independently and in a team environment
· Experience in optical dispensing and/or the optical industry is highly preferred, but not essential.
