We take on ambitious projects and showcases unmatched technical expertise in building regenerative infrastructure like roads, rail and bridges, water treatment facilities, and renewable energy assets.About ProjectThis role is an opportunity for you to join the highly successful Southern Program Alliance contracted by the Victorian Government to remove the most dangerous and congested level crossings.
This is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.The OpportunityReporting to the Manager, Communications & Stakeholder Relations on the Southern Program Alliance you will play an integral part in establishing and building the project's positive reputation with the community and impacted residents, stakeholder groups, traders, and schools.Key responsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.Assist in identifying key stakeholders and develop strong, positive relationships with these stakeholders through proactive engagement, consultation, and addressing concerns.Proactively identify potential issues and risks that could impact stakeholders or project reputation.Plan, organize, and facilitate various stakeholder engagement activities such as public meetings, workshops, information sessions, and one-on-one briefings.Required Skills & CapabilitiesTertiary qualification in relevant discipline (highly desirable but NOT essential)Minimum 2 years' professional experience in stakeholder management, customer or community liaison and communicationsDemonstrated experience on a Rail/ Civil Infrastructure project or within a similar complex environment highly desirableCurrent Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle.
