Job Opportunity: Rail Capacity Specialist
This role focuses on ensuring optimal commercial and operational performance of Linfox train services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing freight capacity to maximize revenue, planning train services in accordance with rail track owner guidelines, and maintaining a capacity model for customer bookings.
* Key responsibilities include allocating wagons correctly to convey customer freight efficiently, daily reporting of train utilization statistics, and liaising with internal teams regarding restrictions or changes to standard operating plans.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics management, particularly in rail-based work environments. A background in planning coordination and analytical roles is highly regarded.
