Your New Role
You will provide event medical standby services and support across the Bathurst region, extending to regional areas as far south as Albury. This role involves working in various settings, including outdoor events and emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities
* Varied Regional Work: Cover shifts across Bathurst, Albury, and surrounding areas, ensuring timely responses to emergencies.
* Dynamic Schedules: Shifts include day and night work with flexibility, requiring adaptability and a willingness to work under pressure.
* Safety First: Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in peak condition, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
* Attention to Detail: Provide high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate records, highlighting critical incidents or challenges.
Requirements
* Previous experience in pre-hospital care, with a strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols.
* AHPRA registration as a paramedic, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Compliance ready checks including Working With Children Check, National Police Check, Clean driving record, First Aid/CPR certification, Full Category A immunisations, annual flu shot.
