Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Formulation and Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, following detailed chemical production formulas, and maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and set up formulation and packaging machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
* Measure and handle raw materials, including lifting up to 25 kg.
* Support quality control by sampling products and performing checks to ensure they meet specifications.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Great communication skills with the ability to interact positively with all levels of the workforce, operational staff, and management.
* Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 kg.
* Excellent attention to detail aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Study completed in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering or Science is desirable, however those with experience in formulation and batching in similar environments are welcome.
* Knowledge of data entry and quality control.
