Job Opportunity for Intake Clinician
We are seeking a skilled intake clinician to join our team and play a significant role in young people's continued engagement.
* Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, case management, intervention or group work as required.
* Deliver evidence-based low intensity and moderate intensity mental health interventions to young people aged 12 - 25.
* Collaborate with senior clinicians to monitor and manage client pathways, support referral triage and transitions to other services within the community.
* Contribute to mental health education programs for healthcare professionals, community-based services and groups as required.
* Participate in quality and service improvement activities to enhance client care and service delivery within a multidisciplinary team.
This is a fixed-term full-time and part-time opportunity until 2027 with potential extension subject to funding. The ideal candidate will have one of the following qualifications: General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a psychologist, mental health occupational therapist, mental health nurse OR social worker with AASW registration/eligibility OR counsellor with Level 3 ACA registration or PACFA equivalent. They will also possess knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with superior understanding within the continuum of care, ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team using high-level communication skills, and eligibility to apply for Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance.
