The Role
The Group Design Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation's design function. Key responsibilities include:
* Establishing and maintaining design standards across the group
* Building and developing an internal design team, including systems and processes
* Leading the full design function with a strong sustainability mandate, particularly around carbon reduction
* Overseeing a broad mix of projects incorporating high-density accommodation, retail, leisure and activated public spaces
* Supporting BIDs and strategic initiatives by leveraging existing design intelligence, case studies and precedents
This role suits a strategic design leader with deep experience in large-scale accommodation, mixed-use environments or community-focused precincts. You will influence projects from concept through delivery while driving innovation, sustainability and quality across a significant portfolio.
