The program places participants at the centre of the service, improving and simplifying services for people looking for work as well as employers.Your Role as a Career Coach:The Career Coach plays a pivotal role in the delivery of the Inclusive Employment Australia Program, which is dedicated to improving sustainable employment outcomes for people with disability.
This position is focused on mentoring participants to overcome personal and systemic barriers by developing tailored, individualised plans and fostering a work-ready mindset.Placing the participant at the centre of service delivery, the Career Coach provides guidance, motivation, and practical support to empower individuals in securing meaningful and lasting employment.
Through personalised engagement and a strengths-based approach, the Career Coach helps participants build confidence, develop skills, and connect with inclusive employers.As a Career Coach, you will be a vital part of someone's employment journey.
Working closely with participants in the Inclusive Employment Australia program, you will:Place each participant's individual needs, strengths, and employment aspirations at the centre of all planning and service delivery.Manage a caseload of participants, providing personalised mentoring, support, guidance, and direction to assist them in achieving employment goals.Deliver coaching and support ensuring a consistent and participant-centred approach.Build rapport and trust with participants, developing tailored Action Plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and identified support needs.Collaborate with Employer Specialists to engage inclusive employers and identify tailored employment opportunities.Develop sustainable employment outcomes and long-term career pathways for participants through strong employer partnerships.Support employers to implement inclusive practices and reasonable adjustments, fostering inclusive, disability-confident workplaces.What We're Looking For:We're seeking someone who is:Passionate about supporting people from all walks of lifeA strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skillsResilient, adaptable, and proactive in solving challengesAble to balance empathy with accountability and outcomesMotivated by purpose and committed to positive, long-term outcomesOrganised, reliable, and committed to meeting compliance requirementsPrevious experience in employment services, case management, community services, is highly regarded — but not essential if you have the right attitude and transferable skills.To Be Considered, You Will Need To:Have full Australian working rightsBe willing to obtain a National Police CheckHave (or be able to pass) a Working with Children CheckHave (or be willing to set up) a MyGovID accountAbout Training Alliance Group (TAG)Training Alliance Group (TAG) is a leading provider of employment and training services across Western Australia and a footprint in New South Wales.
