We are seeking a talented individual to join our Casualty Facultative Broking team at Guy Carpenter.
This role will be based in the Sydney or Melbourne office.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You'll have a mix of client-facing activities, technical risk assessment, market engagement and administrative activities to support effective reinsurance broking.
We will count on you to:
Create and maintain relationships with both clients and reinsurers
Analyse risk and assist with developing solutions tailored to clients' needs
Respond to client queries and concerns promptly to maintain client satisfaction
Support the design, development and marketing of new brokerage products and programs to win new projects
Assist senior brokers on complex client assignments and keep updated records of progress and issues
Monitor accounts including payments and collections, anticipating and preventing problems
Draft policy contracts reflective of bound risk and book accounts within internal systems
What you need to have:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in underwriting or broking
Knowledge of reinsurance and casualty insurance is desirable
Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
Ability to read and interpret Financial Lines policy wordings
Experience communicating professionally and credibly with clients
