Our client is a strong market leader within their industry, proudly operating nationally and throughout the Hunter Region providing products and services to the mining, industrial, construction and consumer markets. Due to growth, we are searching for a self motivated Tyre Fitter to join their team.
The role:
* Following and adhering to WHS directions and procedures
* Repairing, replacing and fitting heavy and light vehicle tyres
* Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)
* Inflating heavy and light vehicle tyres
* Balancing of heavy and light vehicle tyres
* Correct and safe lifting of heavy and light vehicles to perform tyre servicing
* Conducting inventory stocktakes
* Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe and reliable standard
What we're looking for:
* Previous Wheel & tyre experience/interest advantageous
* Current valid car driver's licence.
* Highly motivated with good time management skills
* Respect for customers and their property
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strength and physical stamina
* Problem-solving skills
* People who take pride in their work, and focus on quality of workmanship
* The ability to foster relationships in a team
* People who thrive in an energetic environment and take pride in their work
* Self-starters with a desire to progress within the business
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Benefits:
* $35 per hour + super + paid overtime
* 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday or option to work 6am to 2.30pm on Friday's
