Visiting Medical Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology CCLHD – Apply via eCredential. Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners eligible for registration in New South Wales for the above position within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).

Responsibilities 
- Hold obligations to Gosford Hospital and Wyong Hospital under sessional arrangements. 
- Lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees; provide teaching to residents and medical students. 
- Work constructively in a multidisciplinary team setting; demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
- Manage the care of deteriorating patients and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives. 
- Uphold the Caring for the Coast vision and align with NSW CORE Values and CCLHD Values and Behaviours charter. 
Qualifications 
- Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and/or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Visiting Medical Officer Determination. 
- Medical practitioner registered or eligible for registration in Australia, inclusive of an unrestricted or 19AB exempted provider number. 
- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. 
- Ability to work effectively in a Multidisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills. 
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to lead and supervise medical and surgical trainees; teaching experience in management of the deteriorating patient is advantageous. 
- Demonstrated interest in quality improvement methodologies. 
- Commitment to the Caring for the Coast vision and to NSW CORE Values and CCLHD Values and Behaviours.
