**Mining Production Supervisor** positions available to oversee and optimise load and haul operations in an open pit mining environment.
These roles will be on an
**8:6 FIFO roster ex-Perth** on a
**minimum 6-month temp contract**, with a strong probability of extension.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and supervise a team of skilled operators in load and haul activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient operations.
- Implement and monitor grade control strategies to selectively extract higher-grade ore, maximizing productivity and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to interpret geological data, define ore boundaries, and optimize extraction plans.
- Develop and enforce operational plans, schedules, and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and objectives.
- Monitor equipment performance, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, training, and skill development among team members.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational optimization.

**Qualifications, Skills, and Experience**:
- Trade Qualification in **Mechanical Fitting | Fabrication**:
- Proven experience as a **Mining Production Supervisor** specifically in **load and haul operations **in an** open pit mining environment**:
- ** MUST have or be looking to attain S26 Certificate**:
- ** MUST HAVE Frontrunner truck experience**:
- Solid knowledge of **load and haul **operations
- In-depth knowledge of mining equipment, processes, and best practices
- Familiarity with geological data interpretation and grade control methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
