Electrical Trade Assistant l Full Time Casual l $35 pr hr
Electrical Trade Assistant required who supports qualified electricians and service technicians in maintaining and repairing light towers, generators, and engines.
About the Role:
* Assembly & Looming:Assisting in cable work, loom making, and precise assembly of electrical components for power generation equipment.
* Equipment Maintenance:Helping repair and maintain plant equipment, specifically Perkins engines and FG Wilson generators.
* Workshop Support:Operating hand and power tools, cleaning equipment, and ensuring the workspace remains safe and organized.
* Field/Site Support:Assisting with the commissioning and installation of diesel engines and mobile lighting units
* Technical Skills:Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
* Tickets & Licenses:A valid White Card (safety induction) is essential.
* Previous experience in a workshop or heavy industrial environment is highly regarded
