What is the role?
We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Albany, WA. The focus of this role will be helping keep our modern fleet of prime movers, forestry equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with site requirements.

Specific Responsibilities
* Welding of Mild and Hardened steel
* Heavy fabrication work
* Recording of work completed on work orders.
* Repairs to trailers and prime movers
* Conduct repairs as directed and parts change outs.
* Attend fleet roadside breakdowns.
* Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators.
* Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids
* Comply with maintenance scheduled tasks and operating manuals/procedures.
* Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services.
Qualifications
* Boilermaker Trade Certification
* Fabrication Trade and welding qualifications (or similar)
* Experience working with Heavy Duty Equipment
* Experience in a heavy transport or mining industries (highly regarded)
* Trailer buildering or body fabrication experience
* Ability to read & interpret drawings and work to OEM design specs for repairs.
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Good problem‐solving skills
* Ability to work safely in a regulated environment.
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people.
* Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution.
* Ability to work well within a team environment.
