An exciting, fixed term position is available in the Early Childhood Improvement Branch, join a dedicated team that supports Early Childhood (EC) providers and services in Areas. The Branch has multiple responsibilities, including supporting services with kindergarten programs and the implementation of the suite of Early Childhood reforms including, Pre-Prep, three-year-old kindergarten, School Readiness Funding and various other key early childhood policies.The branch drives improvement in service delivery and outcomes for children across the Early Childhood sector.

About the Role
The School & Regional Services, South Eastern Victoria Region is responsible for implementing government learning and development strategies through networks of government schools and early childhood providers. Multi-disciplinary teams across areas and divisions work collaboratively across the region to:
* Deliver high quality education and early childhood services that are responsive to local needs.
* Improve early childhood service and school outcomes and performance across the region.
* Provide coordination and oversight of the delivery of services that support the health, wellbeing and engagement of children and young people to enable them to learn and develop to their full potential.
This role will be in the South East Victoria Region in the Moe or Leongatha Office.
An exciting opportunity exists to work as part of a new multidisciplinary, area-based team that is building the capabilities of early childhood service providers and focused on delivering improved outcomes for children in Inner Gippsland.
As an Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor, you will provide significant input into broad service system planning, service system development, service monitoring and fund allocation processes for the region.
You will work closely with a diverse range of early childhood stakeholders, including early childhood providers and services, Early Years Managers, Local Governments and Preschool Field Officer providers. You will monitor and work with stakeholders to implement early childhood services, programs and systems in line with government policy and to support continuous improvement. You will monitor performance against objectives and manage risks and issues as they arise.
