Senior Technical Support Engineer - Azure Local (Stack HCI)
Join us at Microsoft as a Senior Technical Support Engineer - Azure Local (Stack HCI) .
Within the Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization, you will own, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer technical issues, collaborating across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools. You will also contribute to community building, share knowledge through readiness programs, and work with Microsoft engineering teams to improve products and develop diagnostic tools.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years in technical support, consulting, or IT, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, and 3+ years of experience in Windows System Administration, Configuration, and troubleshooting, including:
* Azure Stack HCI (Azure Local)
* Windows Admin Center
* Hyper-V management and VM deployment
* Clustering and Resilient Storage (Storage Spaces Direct)
* Windows backup and VSS
* PowerShell scripting
* Network troubleshooting and analysis
* Remote File Systems (SMB)
* DNS, Network Virtualisation, and tools like Sysinternals, Fiddler, NetMon
Soft Skills
* Excellent verbal communication

Additional Details
This role offers flexibility to work up to 50% from home. The position requires working in shifts based on operational needs, which may include rotating shifts.
