Your Next Role

Due to internal movements within our business Hyne are offering exciting opportunities to grow, develop and learn as a Process Operator - Fabricator. The Process Operator – Fabricator (CNC / Machining) is responsible for assembling, machining, finishing and preparing timber products, to specification, for dispatch to our customers.

* All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
* Management is confident in your ability to interpret technical drawings and data and in ensuring the product designs and finished work are within specified guidelines.
* Identify non-conformances and preserve the maintenance of machines and plant to ensure continuous reliability with limited downtime.
* Analyse and optimise programming and processing capability to enable capacity and growth through the plant.

About you

* Minimum carpentry skills with timber and commercial experience or trade-qualified carpenter.
* Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Ability to operate or support CNC machinery (desirable but not essential).
* Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, job sheets or production specifications.
* Experience using hand and power tools.
* Certificate III in Forest and Forest Products and/or Competitive Systems and Practices is highly regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver key outcomes aligned to safety, quality and operational performance.
