Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our depot, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination of local fleet activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee day-to-day staff rostering, ensuring timely and effective communication of any changes or updates.
* Schedule and monitor fleet movements to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective freight distribution.
* Support loading and unloading activities alongside the team to maintain workflow and timelines.
* Perform administrative tasks, including handling operational errors and correcting discrepancies.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
* Implement operational improvements as directed by the Branch Operations Manager to boost efficiency and productivity.
* Maintain exceptional customer service standards across all touchpoints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a similar position is highly desirable.
* A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel with demonstrable experience is essential.
* Familiarity with tracking and processing systems, as well as scheduling and record-keeping, is also required.
* Excellent communication skills and critical thinking abilities are necessary for success in this role.
