Senior Field Service Engineering Role
The role of a senior field service engineer involves traveling to customer sites across metropolitan and regional areas, requiring long-distance driving and air travel.
* Troubleshooting and repairing X-ray equipment at customer sites and within service centers is a key responsibility of the position.
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks according to service contracts and schedules ensures that all equipment operates efficiently.
* Responding to equipment faults and other corrective maintenance requirements demonstrates proactive approach and commitment to meeting client needs.
A Certificate 3 Trade Qualification or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or IT, along with experience in Security or Medical X-ray screening technology/equipment, makes an ideal candidate for this role.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing Smiths Detections X-ray equipment, providing technical support, and completing preventative maintenance tasks.
